A hand device for working robot which can be downsized is provided. The device consists of a robot hand10, a link means40and a workpiece drop prevention means. The robot hand10includes a hand base20, a pair of fingers21, 21protruding from the hand base20and a movable core25provided with a cylinder24. The link means40includes a lever and a connecting pad43for connecting the lever and the movable core25. A workpiece drop prevention means60includes a protrusion stick50which is supported by a supporting rail51, a coil spring and an air cylinder for recess53.
