ABSTRACT:
A cosmetic composition for use in the treatment of hair. The cosmetic composition contains a conditioning agent and the improvement resides in the conditioning agent being a mixture of (i) a silicone polyether and (ii) an amine functional siloxane polymer. The amine functional siloxane polymer has the formula: R.sub.3-z '.
A method of treating hair is also described in which the mixture is applied to hair for the purpose of improving wet and dry combing and imparting durable conditioning benefits to the hair.
