ABSTRACT:
A guide bar for chain saw comprises a main body of a plate shape. The main body has first and second sides facing each other in the thickness direction of the main body. The main body includes at least a first recess provided on the first side, and a second recess provided on the second side of the main body. The first recess has a first portion communicated with the second recess so that the recesses define in combination a through hole at the communciating portion, and a second portion shielded by the second side of the main body. A filler is packed in said first and second recesses.
