ABSTRACT:
A guanidinobenzene derivative represented by the formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents a substituent selected from the group consisting of a phenyl group substituted by an amidino group and a naphthyl group substituted by an amidino group, and salt thereof; a process for the production thereof; and an antiviral pharmaceutical composition comprising the compound.
