ABSTRACT:
Novel cyanoguanidine derivatives having the formula ##STR1## wherein Ar is a phenyl or pyrrol-1-yl group substituted by one or more substituents selected from halogen, trifluoromethyl, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy and nitro and R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 are each independently hydrogen or lower alkyl or R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 taken together form dimethylene or trimethylene, lower blood pressure and, in some cases are also anti-ulcer agents.
