ABSTRACT:
The holder member4is rotatably supported at the tip portion2aof the sliding member2placed on the guide face1aof the guide member1arranged fixedly inside the cylinder C. The holder member4is inclined when the tip portion3aof the profiling member3is inserted between the holder member4and the sliding member2. Then the tapered end of the processing roller6is pushed into the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder where the sliding member2and the profiling member3move together in the axial direction of the cylinder, thereby to form a linear groove on the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder C.
