ABSTRACT:
An abrasive body is formed with a center bore therethrough. A molding ring is placed within the center bore to define an annular space. A foamed plastic such as polyurethane is supplied to the space and when the foamed plastic sets there results a rigid and dense hub for the abrasive body. A portion of the plastic foams into the inner wall of the abrasive body.
