ABSTRACT:
A surface to be polished having a plurality of surfaces of significantly different curvatures can be polished evenly by the use of resilient abrasive members by using a polishing method including the steps of selecting at least two resilient abrasive members10a, 10bfrom the resilient abrasive members having a plurality of dome-shaped portions of different curvatures determined by a plurality of curvatures on the surface to be polished of the polishing target, and mounting the selected resilient abrasive members10a, 10bto specific abrasive member mounting jigs20a, 20band polishing the surface to be polished of the polishing target L2.
