ABSTRACT:
A disc-like grinding wheel5is formed with a circumferential groove5a, the opposite walls of which define grinding surfaces5b. A rotated carrier3brings a load pin55into rotary movement relative to the grinding wheel5rotated about an axis5z, so as to pass the load pin55through space between the grinding surfaces5b, whereby opposite end faces55aof the load pin55are ground simultaneously. Thus, time taken by a grinding process may be reduced as compared with a conventional method wherein one end face is ground at a time.
