ABSTRACT:
Granular detergent compositions comprising an agglomerate of finely-divided organic peroxy acid bleach precursor, and water-soluble or water-dispersible organic binding agent having a melting point of no more than 40.degree. C., and having a surface coating of water-insoluble natural or synthetic silica or silicate. The compositions have improved granular physical characteristics, chemical stability and rate of solution/dispersion characteristics.
