ABSTRACT:
A golf head club has a high moment of inertia and thus produces a pleasing hitting sound. A metallic golf club head1having a hollow space therein includes a face member30provided with a face part31, and a body member10provided with a sole part11, a crown part12, a side part13, and ribs20. The hollow space is defined by the inner surfaces of the face part31, the sole part11, the crown part12, and the side part13, and the wall surfaces of the ribs. The ribs20extend from the inner surface of the sole part11to the inner surface of the crown part12, and the body member10is molded integrally by casting.
