A golf club and golf ball marking and alignment device10which provides a method to place identification and or other indicia on the surface of a golf club head34and golf ball38. The marking and alignment device10contains a well14that contains a arc for a golf club head34and a golf club head centering band22that provide a central window to mark the central dorsal surface of a golf club head34. Marking and alignment device10also has a second well to accommodate a golf ball38and a golf ball cover12which has an opening30to allow for marking a golf ball with a variety of markings or symbols. Once a golf club head34and golf ball38are marked, the marking provide both identification and properties for users of the golf equipment.
