ABSTRACT:
In a golf ball comprising a core, an intermediate layer, and a cover, the intermediate layer is formed of a resin component consisting essentially of 10-60 parts by weight of a thermoplastic elastomer having a crystalline polyethylene block and 90-40 parts by weight of an ionomer resin having a melt index of 3-20 g/10 min. at 190.degree. C. The resin component is easily moldable into a highly resilient intermediate layer. The ball has improved flight performance, durability and feel.
