ABSTRACT:
A solid golf ball with core and cover covering the said core, except outer cover, made in compositions of a mixture of .alpha.,.beta.-ethylenical unsaturated carboxylic acid and fatty acid bismuth salt in amounts of 3-25 and 5-50 parts by weight respectively per 100 parts by weight of the base resins of the said golf ball, which has a good spin property by a softness and the carry can be extended in comparison with other golf balls made in a common composition.
