ABSTRACT:
A process for production of dextrose from starch wherein a starch hydrolyzate produced using soluble .alpha.-amylase or a combination of soluble glucoamylase and .alpha.-amylase is treated with glucoamylase immobilized on a cationic colloidal silica to produce a dextrose-containing syrup.
