ABSTRACT:
A method of making a garment for bendable hody parts with chain armour selects a chain armour which stretches more in a first, longitudinal direction than in a second, transverse direction 90.degree. thereto, such a four-ring chain armour. The garment is then made with a piece of the chain armour on a bendable body part with skin which stretches when the body part is bent with the longitudinal direction thereof in the direction o the stretching and a piece of the chain armour on a bendable body part with skin which is subjected to compression when the body is bent with the longitudinal direction thereon 90.degree. to the former, the body parts preferably being opposite sides of a joint.
