ABSTRACT:
This disclosure is concerned with glass reinforced polyethylene terephthalate compositions which have improved heat distortion temperatures when molded into cold molds due to the incorporation of an organic imide containing compound having a melting point in excess of 240.degree. C. These compositions have enhanced crystallization velocities which allows them to be molded into colder molds with faster cycle times than is conventional for polyethylene terephthalate compositions and still obtain crystalline parts with optimum properties including heat distortion temperatures. Mold temperatures of less than 120.degree. C. may be utilized without impairment of these properties.
