ABSTRACT:
A coating composition for glass fibers comprising a film former of emulsified clad particles having a core of poly alkyl methacrylates and that include at least 5% of methyl methacrylate and a cladding of a softer thermoplastic polymeric material having a Tg of 10.degree. C or less. A method of producing such emulsified coated particles is also disclosed, as well as glass fibers coated with such mixtures.
