A cam mechanism having one cam and two cam followers is provided to impart a swinging movement to the dresser about one pivot axis when the cam rotates in one direction so as to dress one angular surface of a nominally 90.degree. included angle grinding wheel working face and then to impart a swinging movement to the dresser about the other pivot axis when cam rotation is reversed to dress the other surface of the grinding wheel working face.
