ABSTRACT:
The friction modifying property of gasoline crankcase oil is improved by the incorporation therein of a friction modifier of a dialkoxylated alkyl polyoxyalkyl amine ##STR1## wherein R is a (C.sub.1 -C.sub.20) hydrocarbyl radical, R' and R" are divalent (C.sub.1 -C.sub.10) alkylene groups, a is an integer of about 1 to about 10 and x+y is a value of about 1 to about 20.
