ABSTRACT:
Felt gasket material comprising polyethylene terephthalate fibers and suitable for use in luminaires is provided with improved compression recovery properties at elevated operating temperatures of the luminaire by heating the gasket material preferably in the range of 160.degree. C to 200.degree. C for a sufficient time to heat-set the fibers.
