ABSTRACT:
A gas-liquid contacting tray of the crossflow type with improved means for initiating bubbling activity at the tray inlet region comprising spaced-apart imperforate wall members extending substantially vertically upwardly and transverse to the liquid flow path, contiguously associated and coextensive at their upper edges with an intermediate perforated wall member horizontally extending therebetween.
