ABSTRACT:
A molecular gas is compressed in a quasi-adiabatic manner to produce pulsed adiation during each compressor cycle when the pressure and temperature are sufficiently high, and part of the energy is recovered during the expansion phase, as defined in U.S. Pat. No. 3,751,666; characterized by use of a cylinder with a reciprocating piston as a compressor.
