ABSTRACT:
The present invention provides a method for treating a mammal with immunological disorders, particularly autoimmune disease, and most preferably systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). The method includes oral administration of germination activatedGanoderma lucidumspores (“GLSs”) to the mammal. Additionally, a corticosteroid, such as prednisolone, can be co-administered with the GLSs to the mammal to achieve synergistic effect of treatment.
