ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to thermoplastic polycarbonate molding compositions which are rendered resistant to gamma-radiation by incorporating therewith about 0.05 to about 10 percent by weight of a stabilizing agent selected from the group consisting of ##STR1## wherein R is a hydrogen or a halogen atom or a C.sub.1 -C.sub.10 alkyl, a C.sub.6 -C.sub.10 aryl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.22 acyl, C.sub.6 -C.sub.18 alkylaryl or a C.sub.4 -C.sub.10 cycloalkyl radical, m is 1 or 3 to 6, n is an integer of about 20 to 70 and Y is a radical conforming to ##STR2## wherein R, R' and R" independently one of the others are selected from C.sub.1 -C.sub.10 alkyl and C.sub.6 -C.sub.12 aryl radicals preferably C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl radical.
