ABSTRACT:
[6,7]-propylene-, -butylene- or -pentylene-fused imidazopyridin-4-amines that induce interferon (.alpha.) biosynthesis in human cells. Also disclosed are pharmaceutical compositions containing such compounds and methods of inducing interferon (.alpha.) biosynthesis and treating viral infections involving the use of such compounds.
