ABSTRACT:
The present invention provides a non-human chimeric mammal, comprising a severe-combined immunodeficient mammal engrafted with bovine immune system tissues, wherein said chimeric mammal is functionally reconstituted. Also provided is a method of producing a functionally reconstituted scid-bo mouse with bovine fetal hematopoietic tissues.
