ABSTRACT:
A fugitive emmissions accumulator having particular, although not exclusive, use in capturing fugitive oil at a wellhead, wherein an accumulator vessel is sealingly mounted to the wellhead about the polish rod, and wiper means disposed in the accumulator vessel to remove fugitive oil from the polish rod, and wherein the wiper means is floatable relative to the vessel so as to maintain wiping contact with the polish rod at all times, including vertical misalignment thereof.
