ABSTRACT:
Apparatus for pretreating fuel for combustion in a combustor comprising a fuel line leading from a fuel supply to the combustor, said line including at least one fuel pretreatment apparatus which contains one or more of at least one ceramic piece and at least one ferromagnetic plate. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein said fuel line includes a substantially cylindrical shaped enlarged fuel pretreatment apparatus, which contains a plurality of partitions disposed therein at predetermined axial intervals each of said partitions having one or more flow through opening formed therein, whereby a undulating fuel passage is formed in said tube.
