ABSTRACT:
A fuel supplying apparatus for use with a main fuel tank and an engine includes a fuel discharge pipe for supplying fuel to the engine, a sub-tank disposed in the main fuel tank, a fuel pump for pressurizing fuel and a jet pump. The jet pump includes a throat and a nozzle projecting into the throat from the bottom wall of the sub-tank. The throat has a fuel inlet opening disposed outside the sub-tank and a fuel discharge opening disposed in the sub-tank. When pressured fuel is injected into the inlet opening of the throat, the fuel in the main tank is sucked to the sub-tank.
