Three ejectors5, 7, 9with differences in specification are connected in parallel between a hydrogen storage unit3and a fuel cell1.Respective ejectors5, 7, 9allow excess hydrogen, discharged from the fuel cell1,to pass through a hydrogen recirculating common flow passage35and to be recirculated through three recirculation branch flow passages37, 39, 41.Shut-off mechanisms13, 15, 19, 21, 25, 27are disposed at both upstream and downstream sides of the respective ejectors5, 7, 9,with closing and opening of the shut-off mechanisms located at both the upstream and downstream sides of the respective ejectors5, 7, 9permitting the three ejectors5, 7, 9to be properly used.
