ABSTRACT:
A needle valve20having a seat contact section24at a leading end is provided. A nozzle body22having a seat section26with which the seat contact section24comes into contact is provided. The nozzle body22comprises a tapered surface34, which includes the seat section26, and a fuel receiver section28, which includes a spherically shaped sack wall surface36. The leading end of the needle valve20comprises a first protrusion38, which is tapered to have a greater taper angle than the tapered surface34, and a second protrusion40, which is tapered to have a smaller taper angle than the first protrusion38. More specifically, the second protrusion40is conically shaped.
