ABSTRACT:
A two-stroke internal combustion engine comprising a combustion chamber, a fuel injector for injecting fuel into the combustion chamber, an intake passage communicating with the combustion chamber, the intake passage including a venturi section, a throttle in the intake passage, and an engine control for sensing the pressure P.sub.V in the venturi section during engine operation, for sensing throttle position TP, for determining, in response to TP, a specific amount of fuel to be injected by the fuel injector, and for modifying the specific amount of fuel in response to P.sub.V.
