ABSTRACT:
As a fuel additive, the reaction product of a polymer having an amine group and an .alpha.-.beta.-unsaturated C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 aliphatic carboxylic acid. Also disclosed herein is a fuel component, especially gasoline, containing such a reaction product as a detergent.
