ABSTRACT:
A cyclic process for the removal of H.sub.2 S from gas streams is disclosed, the process being characterized by reaction of the H.sub.2 S to sulfur employing specific aqueous solution reactants, and by recovery of the sulfur employing frothing and extraction techniques.
