ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to a method of transmitting digital data exhibiting a rate T by means of a frequency modulator able to modulate as a function of the data, a central carrier frequency f0at a first frequency value f0+¼T and/or a second frequency value f0−¼T. It comprises the step consisting in modulating the carrier frequency from one of the frequency values to the other during a time interval T, via successive frequency stages.
