ABSTRACT:
A side-shield wing attachment for a plow blade is disclosed. The planar wing blade is attached to a key element which rides in a vertical slot in a keyway assembly which is attached to the back side of a plow blade. The wing plate is held in about a perpendicular orientation with the end of the plow blade by a tensioning devises, such as a chain or the like, while the plow is in use. Optional stiffener bars and wing wear shoes are disclosed. The side-shield wing attachment is easily mounted or removed from the plow blade as desired.
