ABSTRACT:
A hydromechanical transmission especially suited to track-laying vehicles. A series of planetary assemblies are provided in conjunction with a hydrostatic driving module and a hydrostatic steering module. Every range may operate in both forward and reverse modes, and the change between forward and reverse can be made in any range. Efficient operation in moving straight ahead or back and on turns is assured.
