ABSTRACT:
A method of charging a fluid beam comprising passing a fluid from an area of first pressure to an area of second pressure, the second pressure being lower than the first pressure, and charging said fluid so that molecules of the fluid may be accelerated in the area of second pressure, so as to form a charged beam, wherein the charging imparts sufficient charge to the fluid as to achieve a charge density greater than 10.sup.14 charge per cm.sup.3 within the fluid.
