ABSTRACT:
A training aid designed to be used to instruct individuals in the proper technique of playing the game of football is described. The training aid includes an elongated strip of flexible material which is lined along both edges with strips of Velcro. In addition, the training aid includes a plurality of player position mats and play mats which are lined along one edge with a strip of Velcro. The elongated strip of flexible material represents the line-of-scrimmage and is positioned across a playing field or other suitable playing surface. The plurality of player position mats and play mats may be exactly positioned adjacent the line-of-scrimmage and may be removably affixed thereto by means of the respective Velcro edges.
