ABSTRACT:
A mold10, 30, 40particularly for use in food preparation comprising a base11, and a collar12having a continuous wall14that upstands from the base with a lower edge16of the collar abutting the base11. The mold may be for single use with the base and the collar being formed from fiberboard and in a particular form the collar wall incorporates a releasable connection to enable opening of the collar. In one form, the collar includes tabs25that extend from the lower edge16and retaining means (18, 19, 31) which are operative to retain the tabs in relation to the base so as to retain the lower edge16of the collar in proximity with the base. The mold further includes in one form an insert19which is locatable within the mold cavity17and in another form a support arrangement (29, 42, 43) is provided to support the collar wall.
