ABSTRACT:
In a communication terminal in which a first enclosure and a second enclosure are foldable, to provide the communication terminal with an antenna characteristic with a wide band performance in either when the enclosures are opened or folded. In a folding communication terminal comprising an upper enclosure2and a lower enclosure3which are foldable through a hinge, and an antenna5attached to the lower enclosure3, the antenna5is arranged along the edge of the end face3A on the upper side abutting on the hinge of the lower enclosure3, a conductor is placed in the upper enclosure2not provided with the antenna, and a second printed board31is provided so that when the upper enclosure2and the lower enclosure3are opened, it is connected to the antenna5at a high frequency to operate as the antenna, thereby transmitting/receiving an electromagnetic wave.
