ABSTRACT:
A folding gin pole assembly is pivoted to the rear of a truckbed and is foldable so that one portion can lie in channels in the truckbed and a front portion can be folded or swung to a generally upright position thus leaving the truckbed free for other uses. A pulley and cable arrangement is provided so that by merely winching the cable the folded portions are first brought into axial alignment where they can be locked together then the pole swung upward to an operating position and the same cable used as a hoist line.
