A folding device can be used for various kinds of electronic apparatuses and is capable of easy processing of parts and lowering of cost. Inner cases16and17are mounted in outer case15, which houses fixed member1and movable member13. Groove portions16A and17A for holding movable member13for movement in the axial direction are provided in inner cases16and17to construct the folding device.
