ABSTRACT:
This invention relates to an improvement in folding girl's and tandem bicycles. The improvement expands the capability of bicycle folding means into girl's and tandem model configurations and provides a commonality of construction which can be incorporated into men's model configurations. The improvement disclosed is a detent for retaining the articulated latches securely locked thereby avoiding inadvertant release when the bicycle is ridden. An eccentric adjustment is provided to adjust out the looseness in the folding joints to overcome the problems of manufacturing tolerances and normal wear.
