ABSTRACT:
Crosslinked elastomeric and/or thermoplastic closed-cell foams having low densities are prepared from an admixture which comprises a crosslinkable thermoplastic and/or elastomeric polymer, a free radical initiator which is activated at temperatures from about 50.degree. C. to about 350.degree. C., and a t-alkylhydrazinium salt or a carbonylhydrazine.
