ABSTRACT:
A flyback type DC/DC converter includes an input filter with input capacitor (C.sub.1), an inductance (L) in series with a power transistor (T) and an output filter with an output capacitor (C.sub.2). The input capacitor (C.sub.1) is connected in series with the output capacitor (C.sub.2) and to the input terminals of the converter to compensate the ripple current in the output capacitor (C.sub.2).
