ABSTRACT:
A flux-cored wire for gas-shielded arc welding comprises a steel sheath and a flux composition filled in the steel sheath. The flux composition is present in an amount of 8 to 25 wt. %, based on the total amount of the steel sheath and the flux composition. The flux composition comprises, based on the total weight of the flux, 10 to 30% of TiO.sub.2, 0.1 to 0.6% of Na.sub.2 O is in the range of 20 to 100:1, 0.01 to 2.0% of a metal fluoride calculated as F, and 0.005 to 0.4% of moisture. Bi.sub.2 O.sub.3 may also be included in the composition.
