ABSTRACT:
Substituted aryl pnictogen derivative compositions having the structure ofin-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?[Rf1-(CtR(u+v))]mE(O)n(CtR1(u+v+1))(3-m)in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?wherein E is phosphorous, arsenic or antimony; Rf1is a fluoropolyether chain; CtR(u+v)and CtR1(u+v+1)represent aryl groups, n is 0 or 1 and m is greater than about 0.5 to about 3. Such compositions have utility as additives for high temperature lubricants.
