ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to the use of fluorinated copolymers based on trifluoroethylene (VF3) and tetrafluoroethylene (C.sub.2 F.sub.4), having melting points above 210.degree. C. and soluble in the customary polar solvents, as protective coatings for a variety of substrates (plates, wires, cables, fibers, etc.) in the form of extruded films or sheaths or in the form of varnishes and paints.
